Only Eden doesn’t anticipate the sexual attraction that would erupt between her and Detective Ricco, a cop gone rogue to ensure justice prevails…and a man who despises her. As the killer strikes again, this time with Eden as his target, Nicholas appoints himself her guardian, though he can’t seem to keep his mind on the job and his hands off the sexy doctor.

Satisfaction is a fast-paced, suspenseful story full of intrigue, dynamic characters and prose that brings the city of New Orleans alive; its sights and sounds, the people, and the mystery behind such and exotic locale. With an explosive opening, the story keeps up it’s momentum till the very last page. The intricate, multi-layered plot is well thought out, the twists and turns, red herrings, and unexpected surprises enough to make this book a page turner, and an interesting movie proposal. Ms. Keane does a marvelous job in her first Ellora’s Cave release, a story that won grand prize winner in The Erotic Pen Writing Contest hosted by JERR last year with the support of Ellora’s Cave. The sexual tension will have your fingers sweating, your pulse pounding, and your body wanting to read more until the tension builds to explosive proportions between Eden and Nick. Both are well developed characters, with mystery, human flaws and some vulnerability to make them appealing and dynamic. Eden and Nick often find themselves in interesting scenarios to make love…and it’s never boring. Fascinating secondary characters, a repulsively attractive villain, and a bit of voodoo thrown into the mix, makes Satisfaction a spellbinding story. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this book by Ms. Keane.

I found Satisfaction to be a very suspenseful and extremely sexy story. Eden is a very complex woman, who is still dealing with the terms of her own sexuality. Deep down, she is a submissive woman who needs the " right" man to conquer and dominate her. Eden finds great satisfaction in sex with more of an edge to it, and I found her past to be very interesting. Nicholas, on the other hand, is a very tortured hero, and he holds a lot of guilt about his partner's death. A part of him died when she did, and he has pulled away from women in general, except in rare cases for obtaining information. Together, Nicholas and Eden tell an emotionally-charged love story with huge dashes of suspense and off-the-chart sexual heat. Candie Keane is an author to keep an eye out for. I believe she will become a top erotic writer in no time. This story brought much Satisfaction to this reviewer/reader.

SATISFACTION is a wonderful read and a great suspense story that will keep you on the edge of your seat.  Nick is sexy and determined to get his man, and in the process just may get a woman.  Eden is a courageous character that admits her mistakes and even in the face of danger tries to make them right.  Together this team is dynamite both in and out of the bedroom, even though the love scenes are burning with intensity.  The plot thickens as the story progresses and the characters seem to come to life.  Candie Keane has penned a story that is sure to be a keeper and readers will eagerly await her next tale.
